About Scott

Scott is a 30-year-old husband and father of three from Michigan. He trains alone in his barn and is aggressively recruiting his wife to join after her pregnancy. She’s asked for weights for her birthday so he's making progress. I’ve been training with garage gym athlete since 2017.

HOW HE USED GARAGE GYM ATHLETE

His current goals are to be a respectable triathlete while keeping and gaining strength. He has progressed through most of our training tracks since joining in 2018.

Results

His Bodyweight has gone from 210lbs to 190. Some highlights of his garage gym athlete tenure include back squat from 305lbs to 325. Clean from 215lbs to 235. Deadlift 390lbs to 415. His 1.5-mile run decreased from 10:05 to 8:57 and 2000m row 7:50 to 6:53.

HIS BEST ADVICE FOR GARAGE GYM ATHLETES…

Continually push yourself. Come up with that big reason. Dive deep inside your brain to come up with why you have to do something. It has to be a reason that is going to motivate you day in and day out. a number on a scale is not going to do it.
