Privacy Policy

Garage Gym Athlete is operated by End of Three Enterprises, LLC (the "Company", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our websites, garagegymathlete.com and endofthreefitness.com and their affiliated sites (the "Site"), and the Garage Gym Athlete app, available on the web at app.garagegymathlete.com and as an iOS and Android app (the "App").

Please also review the Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Site and the App.

Information you give us

  • Account information. When you create an App account we collect your name, email address, and a password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider instead of a password.
  • Profile information you choose to add. A profile photo, bio, birth date, sex, body weight, and unit preference. All of these are optional.
  • Fitness and training data. The workouts you log in the App: sets, reps, loads, times, workout notes, benchmark and fitness test results, and daily habit tracking. This is the core of the product, and it exists so you can see your own training history and progress.
  • Community content. Posts, comments, reactions, cheers, and photos you share to the community, and direct messages you send to other members. Community content is visible to other members. Direct messages are visible to you and the member you message.
  • Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, or by Apple or Google if you subscribe through an app store. We store your subscription status and a customer reference. We never store your card number.
  • Support requests. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage basics. App version, device model, and operating system, used to run and troubleshoot the App.
  • Push notification token. Only if you turn notifications on. You control notification types in Settings and can turn them off at any time.
  • Error and crash reports. We use Sentry to collect crash reports so we can fix bugs. Reports include technical context and an internal account ID. They do not include your email address.
  • Web analytics. On our websites and the web version of the App we use privacy-focused analytics (Fathom and Plausible) to count visits and understand which pages are used. These tools do not track you across other websites. The native iOS and Android apps do not include these analytics.
  • Marketing attribution. If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we may record campaign parameters (such as UTM tags or click identifiers) with your signup or purchase so we know which marketing works.

Apple Health

If you enable it, the App writes your finished workouts to Apple Health so they count toward your activity. This is write only. The App never reads your Health data, and no Health data is ever sent to or stored on our servers. You can turn this off in the App's settings or in your device's Health settings at any time.

How we use information

  • To provide the App: your programming, training history, community, and messaging.
  • To sync your data across your devices.
  • To process payments and manage your membership.
  • To send notifications and emails you have turned on. Every marketing or community email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To fix bugs, improve performance, and understand how the App is used.
  • To keep the community safe, including enforcing our Terms of Use, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the product:

  • Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage that power the App.
  • Stripe: payment processing. Stripe holds your payment details.
  • Apple and Google: if you use Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, or subscribe through their app stores.
  • Expo: push notification delivery and app update infrastructure.
  • Sentry: error and crash monitoring.
  • Resend and Kit: sending the emails you have opted into.
  • Fathom and Plausible: privacy-focused web analytics.
  • Netlify and Cloudflare: web hosting and video delivery.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Your choices and controls

  • Edit your profile, or leave optional fields empty, at any time.
  • Turn push notifications and each email type on or off in Settings.
  • Control your community visibility, including leaderboard and live training presence, in Settings.
  • Block or report other members from their profile or their content.
  • Turn Apple Health writing on or off in Settings.
  • Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the email, or by contacting us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from inside the App, or by emailing us. SeeDelete Your Account for exactly what deletion does and how to request it. Records we are legally required to keep, such as payment transaction records held by our payment processor, are kept only as long as the law requires.

Children

The Site and the App are intended for adults 18 and older, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information, we will delete it.

Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, and passwords are stored only as secure hashes. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to fix issues quickly when they are found.

International users

We are a United States company and process data in the United States. If you use the Site or the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date below, and for significant changes we will provide notice in the App or by email. Your continued use of the Site or the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
