Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Garage Gym Athlete app account, and the data associated with it, at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the Garage Gym Athlete app and sign in.
  2. Go to Me → Account & Settings.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email support@garagegymathlete.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Account deletion request." We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What happens to your billing

  • Subscribed through our website or the web app: your billing profile with our payment processor is deleted and any active subscription is cancelled as part of deletion, before your account is removed. If billing cannot be cancelled, deletion stops and nothing is removed, so you are never left with a subscription you cannot see. Contact us and we will sort it out.
  • Subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play: store subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
  • Member from our earlier platform: if your membership was originally purchased on a previous Company platform, email us at support@garagegymathlete.com so we can cancel that billing for you. Deleting the app account alone does not stop legacy billing.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, sign-in, and profile (name, email, avatar)
  • Your workout logs, benchmark results, and fitness data
  • Your community posts, comments, photos, and direct messages
  • Your notification tokens and preferences
  • Your billing profile with our payment processor, as described above

Your account records are removed from our live systems when the deletion runs, and uploaded photos are removed from storage. Residual copies in encrypted backups and server logs age out within 30 days. Records we are legally required to keep, for example past payment transactions retained by our payment processor for tax and accounting, are kept only as long as the law requires.

If you signed in with Apple or Google

Deleting your account removes it from Garage Gym Athlete. You can additionally remove Garage Gym Athlete from your list of connected apps in your Apple ID settings (Sign in with Apple) or your Google Account settings at any time.
