About Nick

Nick has been married for 11 years and as foster parents, his number of children is always changing. He lives in Little Rock, AK.

HOW HE USED GARAGE GYM ATHLETE

He joined Garage Gym Athlete in early 2020 after listening to the podcasts and doing Meet Yourself Saturdays for the better part of a year. He trains out of his garage or on the college campus where he works as an athletic chaplain and director of Athletes In Action. As a former collegiate wrestler and rugby player, he had always exercised but recently lacked discipline and any sort of programming.

Results

Since starting Garage Gym Athlete he has seen his consistency go up, and most importantly he's back to really enjoying working out and able to keep up with his kids. Deadlift is up 20 pounds; front squat up 25 pounds; back squat up 25 pounds; down 11 pounds in body weight; Murph time down 20 minutes since March.

HIS BEST ADVICE FOR GARAGE GYM ATHLETES…

Working out is supposed to be fun. Try to enjoy yourself and do something fun. So have fun and keep in mind why you are working out.
